"THE MESSAGE TO MUSLIMS IN"
THE MEMORY OF ISRAA AND MIARAGE

In the Name of Allah: No Assistance except from Him. Our praise to Allah: No Gratitude except for Him. Glories to you my Lord: You Created me and I am in full obedience to Your Command. I hold my covenant to You by whatever is in my power. I bear witness that there is no Deity except Allah. I send my prayers and greetings to the best among all creatures Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) the Messenger of peace who received the last message of heavens to guide the worlds and delivered Allah's Integrated Legislation and Wisdom in a perfect manner.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam, I greet you by the greeting of Islam: Asslamu Alikum Wa Rahmetu Allah Wa Barakath:

My topic today Inshaa Allah, is a reflection on the Message Allah Sends to Muslims in the memory of the Israa and Miarage.

The five pillars of Islam are categorized as:

  • Four pillars Revealed from Allah to Angel Gabriel who delivered them all to the Prophet (PBUH).
  • The second pillar, that is, the Salat (Prayer) was the only one Delivered from Allah to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) directly when he was ascended to Meet with Allah in the Miarage.
That represents the importance and the category of Salat as the backbone of Islamic Religion. As I explained before, in performing Salat you are actually doing all the five pillars:
  1. You say the Shahada,
  2. Perform fasting in the time of prayers by abstaining from more than ordained in the regular fasting,
  3. You cut part of your time and use it totally for prayers which is more than performing the Zakat which requires only a percentage of your earning due to using the time,
  4. And you take the direction of the sacred Mosque at Mecca, the same as you do when you perform Hajj.

Also, Allah Rewarded the Prophet (PBUH) by the highest reward ever, as I mentioned before, that was in the year of sorrow, to Show him how he is ranked among the whole seen and unseen worlds.

Moreover, Allah Conveyed to His Messenger (PBUH) that while Prophet Abraham was chosen as a Companion to Allah and Prophet Moses was honored by Talking to Allah, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was chosen to get the highest rank ever. That is, stepping forward to Meet with Allah, cutting all the distances and shields which were not allowed even to Angel Gabriel (PUH).

In addition to all that, Allah Gave the gift of the five prayers to the Prophet (PBUH) after ascension to that highest level. For Muslims, Allah Promised that any one performing any Salat is in a Miarage similar to that of the Prophet (PBUH). It was narrated that the Prophet (PBUH) had said:

"The Salat is the Miarage of the believer."

A continuous reminder by the Miarge of the Prophet (PBUH) five times at least every day while we perform Salat. Allah Sends us a Message at least five times daily:

If I Honored and Rewarded your Prophet (PBUH) by facilitating the Miarage to him, I Did Generalize the gift to all the believers who will Meet with Me when they intend to perform the Miarage at any Salat.

Other than the ordained times of the five Miarage to Allah everyday and outside the limited times obligated for Salat, you are allowed to be in Miarage with Allah:

  • At the time you choose,
  • For the span of time you like,
  • At any pure place you prefer,
  • You start when you are ready,
  • You end the Miarage at your convenience
  • And you state the case you like during your Miarage with Allah.

If we Muslims are performing the Miarage many times per day, we have to remember the starting point of the first Miarge of the Prophet (PBUH). It was from the farthest Mosque at Jerusalem.

In the two Miracles of Israa and Miarage, the corner stone of both was the Aqsa Mosque at Jerusalem. That Mosque was the last point of the first Miracle (Israa) and it was the first step to the second Miracle (Miarage).

The first Miracle is one which could be proven to Arabs at that time who asked the Prophet (PBUH) about what he observed in his way back. The Prophet (PBUH) told them exactly the same as reported by some Arabs in the desert when they came back. Also, the nonbelievers who tried to oppose the Message of Islam learned from the history of the Prophet (PBUH) that he had never in his life visited the Aqusa Mosque. So, they asked about the details of its structure and the Prophet (PBUH) explained all these details to the people who visited it many times and witnessed that the Prophet's explanation was true.

That Miracle was easy to explain and it was intended to guide the brains of the Arab's community:

  • To believe in Muhammad (PBUH) as a Messenger of Allah and a Servant to His Cause,
  • To understand that nothing comes out of the Prophet's capabilities, but it is all Coming from Almighty Allah Who Has the Supreme Power and Capabilities.

In Sura # 17 Bani Isra-il, Verse # 1, Allah Directs the attention to the starting points of the two miracles, when He, Almighty Refers to the Israa by Saying:

"From the Sacred Mosque to the farthest Mosque whose neighborhood We Did Bless."

In this Verse, Allah Mentioned the Sacred Mosque at Mecca with no additions to Explain His Requirements to keep it sacred, because it was explained in other Suras of the Quraan as I stated before. But, when it came to the Aqsa Mosque, He, Almighty Specified that the neighborhood surrounding is blessed.

A call for humanity allover the globe:

If you like to please Your Lord, keep the surrounding of the Aqsa Mosque blessed.

A special Call from Allah to the Muslims:

I Do Trust you to carry My Last Message of guidance to the worlds. Embedded in that message is a direction to your responsibility of keeping Jerusalem and its neighborhood blessed as Allah Ordained.

Allah's Call States also:

I Do Trust you the followers of Muhammad (PBUH) to keep these places as it was under the ruling of Islam: That is:

  1. No transgression is permitted on the churches of the Christians who worship the Religion of Allah.
  2. No exclusion of the Jews who visit these blessed places for worship without transgression on the other worship places of the Christians and Muslims.
  3. Jerusalem is a free area of worship and the Mosque there is part of the last and final religion, that is, the only religion that allows every one to commit to the kind of faith he believes without any compulsion to follow any other ideology.

What a shame to all humanity who observe day and night what happens these days in that blessed places surrounding Jerusalem!:

FIRST:

The Christians are leaving the place either through a plot with the Jews or through their deteriorating faith.

SECOND:

The Muslims and especially their rulers are more concerned with the thrones and the false glory coming to their heads due to their worldly life positions and forget completely how curses are poured down every day from above their heads and thrones. They are more concerned with oppressing the true believers in their countries than oppressing the evil inside themselves when reminded by their responsibilities towards their Creator Who Granted them their current positions and Who Is Capable to Take them out of these positions at any time.

LASTLY:

The theatre over there in Jerusalem is left now for the Jews who:

  • Removed or tricked the Christians,
  • On their way to remove the faithful believers who are left without support from the global Muslim Ummah.
  • And finally, the Jews are planning to stay there raising the banner of Solomon against Jesus and Muhammad (PBU all Prophets).

We Muslims never tried to ignore or decrease the role of Prophet Solomon. On the contrary, Islamic religion is the only religion that openly honors all Prophets and Messengers sent to guide humanity.

Back again to Verse # 1 in Sura # 17 Bani- Isra-il, where it states the requirements from the believers concerning the Aqsa Mosque. The Message to mankind these days is:

Observe what is happening now and compare it with what makes Your Lord Pleased with you.

Is what you observe now a sign of blessed surroundings kept around the Aqsa Mosque of Jerusalem?

If not as you can easily find out; then here are the symptoms:

Here is the race of humans that will cause all of you to suffer and to be Exposed to Allah's Displeasure and probably Revenge. Here is the following Verse # 2 in the same Sura # 17 Al-Israa:

"We Gave Moses the Book, and Made it a Guide to the Children of Israel, (Commanding): "Take not Other than Me as Disposer of (your) affairs."

Ask Allah forgiveness and be sure that He, Almighty Will Respond and Reward you.

Praise be to Allah:

"Who Forgives Sin, Accepts Repentance, Is Severe in Punishment, and Is all-Bountiful. There is no god But He: to Him Is the Final Goal."(40-3)

I ask Allah to shower His Peace and Prayers on Prophet Muhammad, his family and all his companions.

Dear Muslims:

The first miracle of Israa was a miracle related to the seen world on earth as I explained. But, the second Miracle of Miarage was all in the world of the unseen. In that world there is nothing to explain to let the people believe in the truth of the Miracle. There were nothing to say like the structure of the Aqsa Mosque and the number of its entrances. There is nothing similar to the people in the desert who came after the Prophet (PBUH) stating their status and at what time their caravan will arrive in Mecca which proved the miracle on earth.

As usual, in similar situations which are hard to comprehend, the Quraan gives the resemblance as stated in Sura # 53 An-Najm, and as was explained before.

But it seems that tying the Miracle of Miarage which started at the Aqsa Mosque, by the world of the unseen is intended for two reasons:

  1. The First: Is directed to the Arabs at that time (believers and nonbelievers):
    • To discover those who have strong faith to stay and carry the banner of the last Message of guidance to humanity,
    • And to exclude those of the weak faith who were driven of the belief in the unseen Revealed by Allah to His Last Messenger (PBUH).
  2. The Second: To give us nowadays another message: The unseen world is a complex one; most of its contents will remain secret to the Day of Judgment. That unseen world is: as tough to understand as the situation of those who will make the life miserable for all people in the neighborhood around the Aqsa Mosque. As the world of the unseen is extended beyond one's imagination, the miserable life around the Aqsa Mosque will extend to bigger circles beyond the holy areas in the Middle East. But, while most of the secrets of the unseen world would not be revealed to mankind, Allah Will Give you Muslims in your Holy Quraan what these tyrant people will do with you and with the global humanity. I Will Reveal to you what will be your status with them along the history to the Day of Judgment. That is stated in Sura # 17 Al-Israa, Verses # 4-8. I hope that we will have the opportunity to live with these Verses in other Khutbas Inshaa Allah.

Allah States the history of the people who will bear the responsibility of oppressing the other two kinds of believers, these are the Christians and Muslims. Here, Allah reminds us of their well-known messenger Prophet Moses. Specifically, Allah States that Moses was by Allah's Revelation, guidance to the offspring of Prophet Israel who indicates another reminder:

That human race of the Jews was under the Continuous Supervision of Allah because of their tough situations with all Prophets and Messengers. Prophet Jacob whose name specified here as Israel "The servant of Allah" was mentioned to remind us that his twelve decibels took the covenant before their father Israel as stated in Sura # 2 Al-Baqarah, Verse # 133, where Allah Says:

"Were you (the children of Israel) witnesses when death appeared before Jacob? Behold, he said to his sons: "What will you worship after me?" They said: "We shall worship your God and the God of your fathers, Abraham, Ismail, and Isaac,- The One (True) God; To Him do we submit."

And Prophet Moses came to relieve the children of Israel from the persecution and to migrate with them across the Red Sea in Egypt to the blessed land surrounding Jerusalem.

After these reminders you find that Verse # 3 in the same Sura # 17 Al-Israa flashed back again through the history by stating:

"O You that are sprung from those whom we carried (in the Ark) with Noah! Verily he was a devotee most grateful."

As if Allah Responds to the offspring of Israel who claim theses days that they are the most deserving and have the right in Jerusalem's surroundings. This Verse states that the land was full of people before the Jews entered. They stepped after more than forty years from the last days of Moses. This Verse reminds humanity by the response of the Jews to their Prophet Moses when he conveyed to them the Command of Allah to Enter these blessed land as stated in Sura # 5 Al-Maida, Verses # 21-22 and 24-26.

"O my people! Enter The Holy land which Allah Has Assigned unto you, and turn not back in flight, for then will you be overthrown, to your own ruin. They said: "O Moses! In this land are a people of exceeding strength: never shall we enter it until they leave it: If (once) they leave, then shall we enter."
"They said: "O Moses! We shall never enter it as long as they are in it. So go Moses, and Your Lord, and fight the two of you, while we sit here. He said: "O My Lord! I have power only over myself and my brother: So separate us from this rebellious people! Allah Said: "Therefore will the land be out of their reach for forty years: In distraction will they wander through the land: But Sorrow you Moses not over these rebellious people."

That proves that the land was not vacant when they went there. Through Tuesday sessions, we discussed the History of the children of Israel where we learned that they did not enter a vacant land and when they were persecuted and expelled out of Palestine, they did not leave it vacant either.

I hope and pray that we will benefit from the teachings of our Holy Quraan and convey the message to others.
