THE WISDOM AND INDICATIONS OF MIGRATION (2)
"THE ISRAELIS MIGRATION TO PALESTINE"

In the Name of Allah: No Assistance except from Him. Our praise to Allah: No Gratitude except for Him. Glories to you my Lord: You created me and I am in full obedience to your command. I hold my covenant to You by whatever is in my power. I bear witness that there is no Deity except Allah. I send my prayers and greetings to the best among all creatures Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) the Messenger of peace who received the last message of heavens to guide the worlds and delivered Allah's Integrated Legislation and Wisdom in a perfect manner.

Dear brothers and sisters in Islam, I greet you by the greeting of Islam: Asslamu Alikum Wa Rahmetu Allah Wa Barakath:

My Topic today, Inshaa Allah, will be about some of the wisdom learned from the migration of the Prophet (PBUH) 1418 years ago.

The Prophet (PBUH) was commanded to migrate at the age of 53. He started preaching the message of Islam at the age of 40. He called for the One God, Allah; explained the truth of his message, struggled against idolaters and strove to erase all the superstitions embedded in the years of ignorance before his message. The Verses of the Quraan revealed in Mecca kept reassuring and giving the Prophet (PBUH) the confidence that he will witness victory in the near future. The Quranic Verses built in his heart the tranquility that the Unisom will defeat idolatry. He heard Verses # 171-173, of Sura # 37 Al-Saffat, where Allah Assured his victory by Saying:

"Already has Our Word Been Passed before (this) To Our Servants Sent (by Us),"
"That they would certainly be assisted, and that Our Forces,- They surely must conquer."

The Prophet (PBUH), memorized also the reassurance revealed in Mecca, Verse # 47, Sura # 30 Al-Rum, where Allah Says:

"And it was a duty incumbent Upon Us to Aid those who believed."

The diversified feelings and the fate of the believers against the idolaters were revealed also in Mecca, Sura # 40, Ghafir, Verses # 51-52, where Allah Built the tranquility in the hearts of the Prophet (PBUH) and his followers by Saying:

"We Will, without doubt, Help Our Messengers and those who believe, (both) in this world's life and on the Day when the witnesses will stand forth. The Day when no profit will it be to wrongdoers to present their excuses. But they will (only) have the curse and the home of misery."

The Prophet (PBUH) heard all of these assuring Words of Allah throughout his thirteen years struggle in Mecca, then, he found himself obligated to migrate by night, hiding with his companion from the nonbelievers. The idolaters in Mecca were very powerful in Arabia and they allocated a ransom advertised for any person who may bring Muhammad (PBUH) dead or alive. We may pause here and ask:

What is that? What kind of conclusion is this to thirteen years of tough struggle?

But, the answer is simple and offered to humanity at all times to the Day of Judgment:

  • The Rounds of struggle are long,
  • The phases of reaching out for the Cause of Allah are connected
  • And the fate of humanity never follows the assessment of those who struggle,
  • But it follows only the High Plans of Allah.

After the apparent conquest of the Muslims in the battle of Uhd and through the bitterness of its results, Allah Revealed to the Prophet (PBUH) Verse # 128, in Sura # 3 Al-Imran, where Allah Says to the Prophet (PBUH):

"Not for You, (but For Allah), Is the decision."

Here we learn the logic that any person struggling for the Cause of Allah should adopt:

He/she should fulfill what is ordained completely and Leave to Almighty Allah the strategy of spreading out His Message as He plans. He, Almighty Is the Only One Who Decides, as He Likes, the future and fate of His Religion and how His Creation will adhere to His Call of guidance.

You find that clear when you examine the preparations for migration fulfilled by the Prophet (PBUH). The execution of the items of the plan was accurately followed. When we study the major activities of migration we find:

  1. The Prophet (PBUH) spent all the possible human effort to put an accurate plan that will not fail. His destination, the Madina was to the north of Mecca from where he started his trip. Any traveler shall take the north in his/her departure. But, to mislead the nonbelievers who followed him, he started by a route going south at the beginning.
  2. The trip needs strong rides, so he prepared two of the strongest possible rides, fed them sufficiently and made them rest before the move.
  3. The misleading route needs an expert who knows all the straight, crooked, side strips of the ways in the desert, in addition to the caves used for resting and hiding from the observation of the nonbelievers. The expert was a nonbeliever, the Prophet (PBUH) used him because the man had a reputation of honesty.
  4. The Prophet (PBUH) had to plan for the nervous time at Mecca where the fanatic nonbelievers were trying to find him at any cost after they felt that: accompanied by his companion he fooled the whole tribe of Quraish. So, he planned to hide for three days in a cave.
  5. To update himself about the nonbelievers' plans and attitude in getting revenge, the Prophet (PBUH) planned that a shepherd serving Abu Bakr (his companion in the migration) visit them every day hiding his foot traces into the foot steps of his sheep.
  6. During the three days of hiding in a cave, the food and water were transported by the daughter of Abu Bakr. She learned how to hide herself and her footsteps using some of the Arab's tricks. She was trained through the Islamic faith on how to keep that secret even from her relatives.

In all these major items of the Prophet's plan, you touch the true respect to the cause and effect reasoning, nothing was left without planning and nothing was left to chance.

And here comes another lesson:

  • You do your best,
  • Complete your work,
  • Plan your activities,
  • Don't leave anything you know beforehand without taking accurate precautions,
  • And after that leave the success and the fruitful results to the Supreme Power of Allah.

The reasoning in handling all the activities cautiously is taught to us through the revelation to the Prophet (PBUH) in Sura # 4, Al-Nissa, Verse # 102, where Allah Teaches the Prophet (PBUH) and his nation through him by Saying:

"When thou (O Messenger) Art with them, and standest to lead them in prayer, Let one party of them stand up (in prayer) with thee, Taking their arms with them: When they finish their prostration, let them take their position in the rear."

So, the Muslim Ummah should be ready and alert even in the times of Salat.
But:

  • In spite of the restoring ideology of Islam that cause and effect measures must be observed
  • And in spite of the accurate implementation of that ideology through the traditions of the Prophet (PBUH);
  1. The majority of Muslims ignored that ideology,
  2. Over runs its meaning
  3. And became careless about the causes as the beginning of all their troubles and the effects leading to their suffering at the end.
The majority of Muslims presumed by the name of (The vague Reliance) that every thing in life is happening without re-planning (or in disorder). The consequences are that they taste the bitterness in the majority of the worldly wide fields due to that carelessness and ignorance.

The Prophet (PBUH) made the well-controlled plan, but with these accurate items of planning Allah Provides some of the nice incidences like the unbelievable soldiers helping him in the migration. This Assistance of Allah Stays as a living example to remind each other every year that:

  • The blow of the Mercy of Allah fills the hearts of those who struggle for His Cause.
  • During the phases of their struggle, Allah:
    1. Eases the calamities,
    2. Relaxes the difficulties,
    3. And Fills the believers' hearts with the lights of Hope.

Ask Allah forgiveness and be sure that He, Almighty Will Respond and Reward you.

Praise be to Allah:

"Who forgiveth Sin, Accepteth Repentance, Is Severe in Punishment, and Is all-Bountiful. There is no god But He: to Him Is the Final Goal."(40-3)

I ask Allah to shower His Peace and Prayers on Prophet Muhammad; his family and all his companions.

Dear Muslims:

While the Prophet (PBUH) was ensconced in all the hardships of his struggle; in these tough times the intuition was driven into his heart giving him the confidence that the future will be bright. In his way from Mecca to Madina in the days of migration, the lights of hope shinned in front of his eyes and filled his heart with the hope when Allah Revealed to him Verse # 13, Sura # 47 Muhammad, Where Allah Assured him: By Saying:

"And how many cities, with more power than Thy city which has driven thee out, Have we destroyed (For their sins)? And there was none to aid them."

Another reassurance was also revealed during the trip of migration that is: Verse # 85, Sura # 28 Al-Qasas, where Allah Says:

"Verily He Who Ordained the Quraan for thee, Will Bring Thee back to the place of return."

So, he perceived on his way that Allah Will never Let him down and that the new phase of his struggle is the facility of victory. Indeed, it was as the Holy Quraan indicated that migration is a victory. Listen to Verse # 40 Sura # 9 Al-Tauba, where Allah Says:

"If ye help not (the Prophet), (It is no matter): for Allah Did indeed Help him. When the unbelievers drove him out: being the second of the two, They two were in the Cave, And he said to his companion, "Have no fear, for Allah Is with us."

There is a lot to say about the story of the migration of the Prophet (PBUH), but for the time remaining let me shed some light on another kind of migration that caused and is still troubling the whole world to this day:

Leaving the homeland for the cause of certain belief or for the cause of a religious objective is an incidence that occurred in the twentieth century. But, the difference between that incidence and the early migration of Muslims is huge.

The Israelis through pure religious incentive migrated from their home lands to establish the Kingdom of Allah, as they call it, or the Israeli nation in the Holy land after they demolished an Islamic country, Palestine. By religious incentives the Israeli Russians ignored the Russian Language, the Russian System and the whole Soviet Union Republics. They decided to migrate to Palestine to establish a new country for the children of Israel. The Israeli Americans ignored the United States and the American Business. They decided to forget transitionally about the English language and give priority and respect to the Hebrew language. The Israeli Americans joined the Israelis Russians, Yamenians, Egyptians, and many other countries. All of them coming from 102 countries and speaking 81 languages joined each other under the name of the Israeli religion, motivated by the Torah, the Hepro Language and under the banner of the Israeli flag. That religious assembly caused three million Jews to migrate out of : Europe, America, Asia and Africa to Palestine. That is a continuous migration under the name of religion. The differences between this new migration and the Islamic one are:

  1. The Muslim immigrants:
    • Called for the One God "Allah", Restoring and establishing ethics and principles on the land.
    • They reached out to teach humanity that:
      1. Allah Is the One God,
      2. The Lord of the worlds
      3. And that all humans if they think carefully, they would have Absolute Submission to Him, and live on Earth according to what He, Almighty Ordains to the integral benefits of humanity.
    • They delivered for the first time an integrated curriculum full of high-standard ethics and principles never presented before and will stay to the last day on earth.

  2. But, those who migrated to Palestine:
    • Had doubtful relations with Allah,
    • The incentives that moved them while religious carried a lot of misleading ideological concepts than righteous ones.
    • Moreover, the oppression and transgression that accompanied their ideology had no traces of justice because it was exercised on the real owners of the land.

  3. Those who migrated from Mecca:
    • Had none to support them on earth except Allah.
    • The whole communities were suspicious about their righteous ideology.
    • Those who lived with different deviations of old books or traditions hated those immigrants, because:
      1. The Unisom of One God, the way they claimed it in a high and pure manner detailed in a miraculous book (The Quraan) was not known neither in the deviated religions they followed nor in the invented traditions they honored.
      2. At that time the people were as Allah Specified in Sura # 12 Yusuf, Verse # 106, where Allah Says:

"And most of them Believe not in Allah Without associating (others As partners) with Him!"

  4. All the people were furious from these new Muslims and tried to kill their ideology or contain its effects.
  5. But the believers did what was ordained on them and relied on the support and victory Promised by Allah.

The Israelis when they migrated from 102 countries to Palestine, were supported by the British who were in control and supervision of Palestine at that time. The English Navy spread allover the Oceans was supporting them and lately the strongest country on Earth is defending them for many reasons:

  1. The miserable situation is that the international system of supreme powers adopted for a long time to this day is a trend to:
Plan and impose rulers and kings for the countries titled as Islamic.
  2. These rulers or kings do their best to make Muslims dilute their:
    • Belief in Islam,
    • Islamic traditions,
    • Muslim's History,
    • The ethics and principles taught as examples of the early Muslims.

  3. In these countries Allah Has His Own Plans which are deviating totally from these man-made plans.

Here in this country what is our role while we are starting a new Islamic year?

I hope and pray that all of us will be at the level of responsibility and start our new year with lessons learned from the traditions of the Prophet (PBUH).

I will pray and ask Allah, Please say Amen.
